1. Agreement to terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you and Huspr ("we", "us", "Huspr") that governs your use of the Huspr mobile app and web app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Who can use the Service
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions where that is the applicable age of digital consent) to use the Service. If you create a household and invite minors as members, you confirm that you have the right to do so.
3. Your account
You sign in with Microsoft, Apple, or Google. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials safe. One account can belong to multiple households and families.
4. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you create or upload through the Service. You grant Huspr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, transcribe, process, and display your content solely to operate the Service and provide it to you and the household members you've authorised. This licence ends when you delete your content or your account, subject to backup retention described in the Privacy Policy.
5. What you can't do
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, upload content that infringes anyone's rights, upload malware, try to access another household's data without permission, reverse engineer the Service, use it to spam or harass, scrape or mass-extract data, or resell the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
6. Household management
Households and families are administered by their Owners (the user who created them). Owners can add and remove members, change roles, and delete the household. By joining a household you accept that the Owner has these powers.
7. Voice transcription and AI features
When you use voice-driven features, we send your audio to Microsoft Azure for transcription and (optionally) for parsing into structured data. The AI may make mistakes. Always verify AI-generated suggestions before acting on them. We are not responsible for losses caused by acting on AI output without verification.
8. Health and medicine features
The Medicine module is a record-keeping and reminder tool. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Do not use Huspr to diagnose conditions, change doses without consulting a doctor, or replace a healthcare professional's judgement.
9. Push notifications
We send push notifications for events you've subscribed to. You can turn these off in your device settings or in-app. We are not responsible for actions you fail to take because a notification didn't arrive.
10. Paid plans
The Service is currently free. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, we'll give advance notice, free-plan limits will be clear, and you'll only be charged after you actively subscribe. Payments will be handled by Stripe, Apple in-app purchase, or Google Play Billing — we never receive your card details directly.
11. Intellectual property
The Service itself (excluding your content) — including the app, brand, design, logos, and software — is owned by Huspr and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute the Service without our prior written consent.
12. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or AED 100 if you've paid us nothing. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages, or for losses caused by reliance on AI output, transcription errors, or notification delivery failures.
14. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete my account. We can suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dubai, UAE, except where prohibited by local consumer-protection law.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the app and post a notice at the top of this page. Continued use after the notice period counts as acceptance.
17. Apple-specific terms (iOS only)
If you downloaded the Service from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that Apple is not responsible for the Service, has no obligation to provide support, and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
